Dr. Anuradha Rao-Patel

A Louisiana native, Dr. Anuradha Rao-Patel received her medical training and medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital/University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Patel is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Patel is experienced in non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal disorders including chronic pain management. She performs treatments including medication management, steroid joint injections, trigger point injections, physical therapy referrals, mobility assessments, and adaptive equipment assessments.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists, North Carolina Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
