Physician Assistant

Michelle Dowdall is a certified Physician Assistant who received her training at Western Michigan University . She received a Master’s Degree in the Science of Medicine and completed her PA training in 2000. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois.

Michelle has worked with spine specialist, Dr. Paul Suh, since 2002. She sees patients in both clinic and hospital settings. Also, she assists Dr. Suh in many of the surgeries he performs. Prior to her current position, Michelle worked in the departments of Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology at the Durham VA Hospital.

Born and raised in Chicago, Michelle has called North Carolina home since 2000. She currently lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Vernon.
