Physician Assistant

Blakely Hunnings, PA-C - Originally from Blacksburg, Virginia, Blakely attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate studies and received her Bachelors in Human Nutrition and Exercise Science. She went on to attend East Carolina University where she received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.

Blakely joined the OSNC team part-time in August of 2008.  She practices predominantly in the Wake Forest office and assists with surgical cases at Duke Raleigh Hospital, Rex Wakefield, and WakeMed North Campus. She has a strong background in emergency medicine, which strengthens her ability to care for acute orthopaedic injuries.

Blakely is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.  She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and the North Carolina Medical Society.
